Clair Thomas, Managing Director
Clair heads up the business and identifies who would be appropriate for the task, whilst being very hands-on. She specialises in the waste and resource management industry, having spent 20 years working in roles from business development through to operational and general management. A Chartered Waste and Resource Manager, Clair is also a Technical Member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety & Health) and holds an Honours degree in Business with Systems Practice.
Jo Todd, Business Support Manager
Jo recently joined the Maderne family, having previously worked with Clair. Jo looks after the ‘mechanics’ of Maderne Learning, takes care of social media and keeps everything on track.
With 30+ years of Customer Services and Business Support experience, Jo is well placed to look after all of our delegates and trainers and is the friendliest person you’ll ever meet (especially if you have chocolate!). Jo is your go-to person for all things training and tests out all the online courses before they go live, ensuring that they deliver on their promises. With experience in sectors ranging from consumer goods, waste management and landscaping (amongst other things), Jo contributes towards course development and works with our partner consultants to ensure they’re delivered to the highest standards.
